There will be an overview of costs associated with procuring, operating, and maintaining a cogeneration facility through its lifecycle. Included in the analysis will be a list of benefits and revenue streams that can be generated to cover some or all of the costs associated with running such a facility. Alternatives to cogeneration will be discussed as well.

Experts weigh in on:

Steve Krugel, P.E. of Brown and Caldwell will discuss ways communities are adding value to carbon and other sustainable benefits into their more traditional cost evaluations and how these valuations can incentivize project development. Carbon valuation approaches, including those based on cap and trade markets, the social cost of carbon, and adopted values-based strictly on community environmental ethics, will be discussed, as well as direct monetary incentives for some uses such as Renewable Identification Number (RIN) credits.

Part 4: Biogas Utilization Cost, Revenues, and Benefits
Experts weigh in on:

  • Pacific Northwest Biogas Monetization
  • Update on state of RNG market and projects for 2020

PNCWA will provide each attendee with the link to access the webinar and call-in audio instructions. PNCWA is not responsible for technical support before, during or after the webinar. Attendees must ensure that they have the needed equipment, that it is functioning, that it is compatible with the webinar system and that they know how to use it. Refunds will be handled according to PNCWA’s current webinar refund policy and will not be issued for attendees that experience technical or equipment failures during the webinar.

Webinar Continuing Education Units Requirements

The following guidelines apply when a webinar is approved for CEU’s

  • No partial credit will be given.
  • Attendees must pre-register and provide a valid certification number or License number.
  • Each attendee must be logged into a separate computer so that their participation may be accurately tracked.
  • In certain webinars where the CEU authority has required a proctor or attendance monitor be present, more than one individual may attend at a station and be eligible for CEUs.
  • Attendees must be logged in at the beginning and must remain logged in through the end of the session. Attendees must promptly respond to brief quizzes that appear randomly throughout the webinar.
  • After the webinar, PNCWA staff will email CEU documentation to attendees meeting the CEU requirements. Reports will also be sent to the appropriate certification boards.

Inability to complete CEU requirements due to technical difficulties will result in no CEU’s being issued.

Webinar Recordings

Webinar participants should be aware that the webinar they attend may be recorded. PNCWA holds a perpetual license to copy, distribute, make videos, DVDs, CDs, publish, reproduce the Recording, to post the Recording on its website, to sell the Recording or any copy or derivative thereof, to market and publicize the Recording, all without any fee or compensation paid or to be paid to Attendees by PNCWA.
  
Prohibition of Recording Statement:Recording of any sounds or visual images, and use of any recording device or medium now known, or later developed, is prohibited at all PNCWA Seminar, School, Conference or other training events unless prior written permission has been expressly granted by PNCWA.
